Process of Aadhar Update
Aadhaar card updates can be done through both online and offline methods.
Online Method:
1. Visit the UIDAI Official Website: https://uidai.gov.in/.
2. Click on 'Update Aadhaar'section on the website and click on it.
3. Select the type of update you want to make (e.g., name, address, mobile number, etc.).
4. You will be redirected to a page where you need to fill out the required details. Make sure to enter accurate information.
5. You will need to upload scanned copies of the supporting documents required for the update.
6. After filling out the form and uploading the necessary documents, review the information, and submit your update request.
7. After successful submission, you will receive an acknowledgment slip with an Update Request Number (URN). This URN can be used to track the status of your update.
Offline Method:
1. Locate the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Center. You can find one using the UIDAI website or by calling the toll-free number 1947.
2. You can get the form at the center or download it from the UIDAI website and fill it in advance and Fill out the Aadhaar Update Form with the correct details.Carry original documents for verification at the Enrollment/Update Center.
3. Submit the filled form along with the supporting documents to the Aadhaar Enrollment/Update Operator.
4. Provide your biometric data (fingerprints, iris scan) for authentication.
5. After the update request is accepted, you'll receive an acknowledgment slip containing an Update Request Number (URN). Keep this slip safe for future reference.
6. Make sure all the information provided is accurate and matches the supporting documents.
